Mets infielder Wilmer Flores was held out of Tuesday's contest against the Dodgers as he continues nurse an ankle injury.
Flores twisted his ankle during Monday's game against the Dodgers. He went on the minor-league disabled list because of an ankle sprain last month with Triple-A Las Vegas. He batted .259/.310/.407 with one home run and nine RBI in 27 at-bats prior to the injury.
