The Yankees demoted Chivilli to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.
After giving up six runs on five hits in one inning Monday against the Cardinals, Chivilli is being sent down to Triple-A. On the campaign, the 24-year-old now owns a 3.78 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB in 16.2 innings. The Yankees now have an open spot in their bullpen.
