Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk an RBI and three runs scored in Monday's 8-7 loss to the Angels.

Rizzo got things rolling quickly Monday with an RBI double to left his first time up to give the Yankees an early 1-0 lead. He would later score that inning and scored each of the two other times he reached base. Rizzo had been struggling to a .156/.222/.188 slash line over the last nine games entering Monday's contest since returning from the COVID-19 injured list Aug. 18. The team is hoping it can continue to roll with him at first base but the Yankees have Luke Voit on deck if Rizzo's struggles persist.
