Volpe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Friday's loss to Toronto.
Volpe took Kevin Gausman deep in the fifth inning for his 10th homer of the season. The shortstop had two additional knocks in the loss, giving him his third multi-hit performance over his past four contests. Volpe has hit safely in 13 of his past 14 games and is slashing .356/.367/.644 with four home runs, five doubles, nine RBI, 10 runs and four thefts over that span.
