Wells isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

Wells has gone 3-for-12 with an RBI and five strikeouts across his last three games, and he'll now take a seat versus Tyler Anderson and the Halos. Jose Trevino will get the nod to start behind the dish and bat eighth.
