The Yankees selected Narvaez's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.
Narvaez, 24, is now protected from the Rule 5 Draft. The catcher slashed .239/.370/.397 with 12 home runs between Double-A Somerset and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in 2023. He has not yet made an appearance in the majors.
