Yankees' Elmer Rodriguez: Headed back to Triple-A

Rodriguez was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Reds.

Rodriguez was called up ahead of Sunday's contest, and he tossed four innings, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four against Cincinnati. The 22-year-old will now have to wait for his next chance with the big-league club down the road this season.
