Sanchez left Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Sanchez appeared to suffer the injury while attempting to steal second base, but he was thrown out and had to exit the contest. The Yankees have yet provide another update on his status, though after the game, Sanchez stated that this injury feels similar to his last groin issue, which forced him to miss just over two weeks, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.
