Sanchez has been diagnosed with a cracked right thumb and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the YES Network's Jack Curry reports.
The hard-hitting catching prospect will rest his thumb for two weeks and then the Yankees will X-ray it to see where he's at. Sanchez has plenty of potential if and when he gets a chance in the big leagues, but with Brian McCann in place, he had an uncertain ETA.
