Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Re-injures calf

The Yankees announced that Stanton (calf) re-injured his calf and will have a slow week of activities, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Stanton has been on the injured list since April 28 and may not be close to coming back anytime soon. Prior to his injury, the 36-year-old was slashing .256/.302/.422 with three homers in 96 plate appearances. The Yankees will continue to rotate Ben Rice and Paul Goldschmidt at DH in Stanton's extended absence.
