Kaprielian (elbow) was placed on the minor-league disabled list Thursday.
The 2015 first-rounder has dealt with elbow issues in the past and it appears that his pitching elbow is bothering him once again. He's set to undergo an MRI and a dye contrast MRI in the near future and the Yankees will provide a further update on his status after the results are released.
