The Yankees recalled Dominguez from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday. Manager Aaron Boone said that Dominguez will start in center field and bat sixth in the Yankees' series opener versus the Royals, according to Jorge Castillo of ESPN.com.

As Bryan Hoch of MLB.com notes, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman recently said that Dominguez wouldn't rejoin the big club if he wasn't going to play regularly, so expect the 21-year-old phenom to take on a near-everyday role in the outfield now that he's back in the majors. Dominguez impressed in a small sample of eight games with the Yankees in 2023 and has turned in a .309/.368/.480 slash line with seven home runs and 15 stolen bases in 193 plate appearances at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season after completing his recovery from Tommy John surgery.
