Manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Chisholm (thumb) could be reinstated from the injured list as early as Tuesday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

The second baseman landed on the shelf after sustaining a thumb sprain Sept. 8 versus Colorado, and it appears he'll be able to rejoin the Yankees after missing little more than the 10-day minimum. Chisholm had a hot start to September prior to the injury, going 6-for-18 with a homer, two walks and three runs through five games.
