Soto tied a career high when he hit his 35th homer of the season in the first inning. He went hitless in 13 at-bats against the Tigers over the weekend but now has seven long balls in his past eight games. On the season, the 25-year-old is hitting .299 with 88 RBI and 104 runs scored across 562 plate appearances.
