Soto (knee) was removed from Friday's lineup against Oakland, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Soto suffered a knee injury in Thursday's game against Seattle after crashing into the wall in the seventh inning. X-rays came back negative, and he was poised to return to the lineup Friday, but he's been removed due to soreness and swelling in the affected knee. Aaron Judge will shift to right field with Soto out, and Trent Grisham will enter the lineup to start in center.
