Holder underwent a series of tests Saturday after experiencing discomfort in his left hip and stomach area, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The severity of the issue should become clear once the results of the tests are known. Even if healthy, Holder is unlikely to fill a significant role for the Yankees this season, as he's not on the team's 40-man roster and has yet to reach Triple-A.
