Voit went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during a 2-0 win over the Red Sox in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader.

After going 1-for-2 with a walk and two RBI in the matinee, Voit took Nathan Eovaldi deep in the second inning of the nightcap, giving Luis Gil and the Yankees' bullpen all the run support they would need. The first baseman has homered twice as part of a modest four-game hitting streak, and now that he's healthy Voit could be gearing up for a big finish to the campaign. He could use it -- he's slashing a disappointing .241/.325/.400 through 39 contests this season with only six homers and 20 RBI. Figuring out playing time for everyone could also be an issue once Anthony Rizzo returns from the COVID list.
