The Yankees outrighted Burdi to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday.
Burdi cleared waivers after being designated for assignment and will stick around in the Yankees organization. The 31-year-old right-hander has made 12 appearances at the big-league level for the Yankees in 2024, logging a 1.86 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 9.2 innings.
