Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 5-3 win against Seattle.

The veteran first baseman drew a rare start versus a right-hander with Giancarlo Stanton getting the day off, launching his first homer of the campaign. Goldschmidt is still expected to see most of his playing time come against left-handed pitching in 2026, as Ben Rice is set to handle the bulk of the reps at first base going forward while Stanton receives the majority of the action at designated hitter.
