Yankees pitcher Nathan Eovaldi allowed three runs on 11 hits in 4 2/3 innings of work in New York's 5-3 win over the Athletics on Saturday, but did not factor into a decision.
Eovaldi ran into issues in the third when he allowed the first three batters of the inning to reach base safely. Then after a sac fly from Billy Butler, Eovaldi allowed an RBI single to Josh Reddick, bringing home another run.
Eovaldi then gave up another run in the fourth on an RBI single by Marcus Semien. Eovaldi, who remains 4-1, moved his ERA to 4.40 in 57 1/3 innings of work. He will look to get back on track on Friday against the Angels.
