The Yankees optioned Marinaccio to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Marinaccio was brought up to be the Yankees' 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Rangers and, as expected, will return to Triple-A following the twin bill. Marinaccio threw 2.1 scoreless innings of relief during an 8-0 win in Game 1, marking his first MLB appearance since June 20. The 28-year-old has registered a 1.55 ERA across 29 innings with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
