The Yankees have announced the signing of pitcher Nathan Eovaldi to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract to avoid arbitration. Eovaldi will reportedly make $3.3 million, according to the New York Daily News.
Eovaldi was traded from the Marlins in December as a part of a five-player trade. He posted a 4.37 ERA with 142 strikeouts over 199 2/3 innings as a starter in Miami.
