Warren (0-3) took the loss against the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts over four innings.
Warren yielded four runs in the third inning, including a three-run home run to Brendan Donovan. The rookie generated just five whiffs on 76 pitches and has now surrendered four earned runs or more in four of his five starts with the Yankees. He owns a 9.55 ERA and 1.85 WHIP through 21.2 major-league innings and will likely cede his spot in the rotation upon the return of Luis Gil (back) or Clarke Schmidt (lat).
