The Yankees optioned Warren to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after Saturday's game versus Pittsburgh.
Warren pitched the ninth inning of Saturday's loss, allowing three earned runs on two hits and a walk while striking out three batters. His poor outing will give him a 10.32 ERA to finish the season through 22.2 innings in the majors.
