Lopez was released by the Mets on Thursday.
Lopez pitched primarily with Triple-A Syracuse in 2022, working 35 innings across 29 appearances as a reliever. He chipped in a bit at the big-league level but struggled to a 5.73 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 11 frames. He'll likely be on the lookout for a minor-league deal with the hopes of cracking a big-league bullpen to open 2023.
