Gaviglio signed with the Dodgers as a non-roster invitee Friday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. Gaviglio has thrown 296.2 major-league innings over the last four seasons, posting an unexciting 4.88 ERA. He spent the second half of last season pitching for the SSG Landers in Korea and fared considerably worse, struggling to a 5.86 ERA in 15 starts. The 31-year-old righty will have to show much more than that to earn significant innings with a team as strong as the Dodgers.

Gaviglio is expected to sign with the KBO's SSG Landers, Hong Ji-soo of Naver Sports reports. Gaviglio owns a 4.88 ERA in 296.2 career MLB innings. He failed to win a roster spot with the Rangers this spring and had been pitching for Triple-A Round Rock, but he'll now head overseas in search of new opportunities.

Gaviglio was reassigned to minor-league camp Thursday. Gaviglio served as a non-roster invitee over the first few weeks of spring training and made four Cactus League appearances. During that time, he allowed four runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.2 innings. The right-hander will likely begin the regular season with Triple-A Round Rock.

Gaviglio joined the Rangers as a non-roster invitee Monday. Gaviglio threw just three innings for the Blue Jays last season, walking five batters and allowing three runs. In 296.2 total innings at the highest level, he owns a 4.88 ERA, a mark that could earn him at least a low-leverage relief role if he looks good in camp.
