Garcia was activated from the Astros' taxi squad Tuesday but failed to record an at-bat during his brief stint with the major-league club. The 28-year-old has slashed .206/.321/.471 with four home runs, 12 RBI and nine runs in 18 minor-league games this year and should see more consistent playing time at Triple-A Sugar Land.
