  • Chisholm will start at third base and bat cleanup Wednesday in Game 5 of the World Series versus the Dodgers. Chisholm was moved up from the No. 5 spot to the No. 4 spot in the Yankees' Game 4 victory and manager Aaron Boone will keep him there for Game 5 after Chisholm reached twice and stole a base Tuesday. Giancarlo Stanton will hit fifth for the second straight contest.

  • Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Sitting out finale
    By RotoWire

Chisholm is not in Sunday's lineup against the Pirates. The Yankees are resting Juan Soto and Aaron Judge as well. Chisholm is 5-for-12 with one home run, two doubles and two steals over his last three games, giving him plenty of momentum heading into the playoffs.

  • Yankees' Jazz Chisholm: Launches 24th homer
    By RotoWire

Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Pirates. He got the Yankees on the board with a fifth-inning solo shot off Mike Burrows, but the Bucs already had a 4-0 lead at that point. Chisholm reached 40 steals on the season Friday, and he now sits one homer short of 25 with one game left to play on the regular-season schedule. The 26-year-old has been outstanding for New York since being acquired at the trade deadline -- 11 of his long balls, and 18 of his stolen bases, have come in only 46 games as a Yankee.

  • Chisholm went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Athletics. Chisholm has been a flash on the basepaths with 10 steals over 19 games in September. He's up to 38 thefts on the season, and while he's been caught stealing 10 times, that volume puts him in position to push for a 40-steal campaign. In addition to the elite speed, he's slashing a reliable .256/.326/.434 with 23 home runs, 70 RBI, 74 runs scored, 19 doubles and four triples over 142 games between the Yankees and the Marlins this year.

  • Chisholm isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Saturday's game against Oakland. Chisholm will get a day off Saturday as the Yankees opt to sit most of their left-handed bats against southpaw JP Sears. Jon Berti will take over at the hot corner and bat sixth.
