Rosenberg agreed to a contract with the KBO's Kiwoom Heroes on Monday, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports. Rosenberg didn't find much success with the Angels during the 2024 campaign, posting a 6.00 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with a 17:8 K:BB across 24.0 innings. His KBO contract includes a $700,000 base salary with up to $100,000 in incentives, per Kurtz.

The Angels released Rosenberg on Monday. Rosenberg appeared in seven regular-season games (including one start) for the Angels in 2024 and posted a 6.00 ERA and 1.50 WHIP over 24 frames. He spent most of the year with Triple-A Salt Lake, and across 21 starts he posted a 9-7 record with a 4.21 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 105:38 K:BB over 115.1 innings. The 29-year-old southpaw should receive interest from organizations looking to bolster its left-handed pitching options.

The Angels recalled Rosenberg from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday. Rosenberg will return to the major-league roster after being sent down to Salt Lake on Aug. 14. He posted a 3.73 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with 31 strikeouts over 31.1 innings in five starts since being optioned, but the southpaw could work out of the bullpen while he's back up with the Angels. The Angels optioned starter Caden Dana to Double-A Rocket City on Monday, but the club could roll with a five-man rotation over the final two weeks rather than having Rosenberg replace Dana as a sixth starter.

The Angels optioned Rosenberg to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday. Rosenberg threw five innings of one-run ball during his long-relief appearance Tuesday. He'll now be sent back to Triple-A in favor of Brock Burke, who was claimed off waivers from Texas on Tuesday and will provide the Halos' bullpen with another fresh arm.

The Angels recalled Rosenberg from Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday. Since being optioned to the minors July 26, Rosenberg has allowed nine earned runs in just seven innings. Despite his poor performance, he'll now rejoin the Angels and presumably serve as a long-relief option. Davis Daniel was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
