Miller was promoted to Double-A Reading on Sunday, MLB Pipeline reports. Miller was promoted to High-A Jersey Shore on June 10, and he maintained a 117 wRC+ across 258 plate appearances at the level. A first-round pick in 2023, Miller continues to move quickly through the organization as he'll be only 20 years old when the 2025 season kicks off.

The Phillies promoted Miller from Single-A Clearwater to High-A Jersey Shore on Monday, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports. Miller had been stuck in a 6-for-41 slump at the plate over his final 12 games at Clearwater, but he didn't compromise his plate discipline amid the dry spell, as he had still walked at a 20.4 percent clip. The 20-year-old was able to force his way to Jersey Shore after slashing .275/.401/.483 on the season at Clearwater while going 9-for-10 in stolen base attempts. He's regarded as one of the top lower-level prospects in the Phillies' system.

Miller is slashing .337/.420/.570 with four home runs, nine steals and a 19 percent strikeout rate in 100 plate appearances for Single-A Clearwater. Seen as one of the top prep hitters in last year's draft, Miller played only 10 games at Single-A last year, and he has dominated in a return to the Florida State League. Only Nick Morabito, who is over a year older than Miller and has since been promoted to High-A, has a higher wRC+ among qualified FSL hitters, so Miller should be getting his own promotion to High-A in the coming weeks. While most evaluators expect Miller to end up at third base, he has played only shortstop and designated hitter thus far in pro ball.
