Pages will start in center field and bat ninth Friday in Game 5 of the NLCS against the Mets, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports. Pages is netting his second start in as many days as the Mets turn to a lefty (David Peterson) for the second day in a row. He went 0-for-4 with one strikeout in the Dodgers' Game 4 victory.

Pages will start in center field and bat ninth Monday in Game 2 of the NLCS versus the Mets. Enrique Hernandez got the call in center field in Game 1, but it will be Pages there for Game 2 as Hernandez shifts to second base. It will be the first start this postseason for Pages, who went hitless in two plate appearances off the bench in Game 3 of the NLDS against the Padres after entering as a pinch runner.

Pages is in the lineup as the center fielder and is batting ninth Thursday against the Padres. Pages was sent to center field off the bench in Wednesday night's game after Miguel Rojas was removed following the fourth inning due to a thigh injury. Tommy Edman started in center field, but moved to shortstop with Pages entering the game. With Rojas not expected to return until Sunday, expect Pages to find increased playing time in the final few games of the season.

Pages went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 win against Colorado. Pages put the Dodgers on the board in the fifth inning with a 407-foot solo shot. The rookie outfielder finished with his second straight two-hit game, and he's driven in four runs over the pair of contests. Pages has been in and out of the lineup throughout September, but he's started each of Los Angeles' past three contests in center field while Tommy Edman temporarily moved to shortstop in the absence of Miguel Rojas. Rojas returned to the lineup Friday while Edman began the game on the bench, though both of those players are lineup regulars for the Dodgers, meaning Pages' recent run as a starter may be short-lived.

Pages went 2-for-5 with a double, a walk, three RBI and three runs Thursday against the Marlins. Pages was overshadowed by the ridiculous exploits of Shohei Ohtani but quietly collected three RBI for the third time this season. It was the first time Pages produced multiple hits in a game since Aug 11 and the first time since late-April that he's posted three RBI in a game.
