Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Bumped off roster
Kevin Kiermaier is not on the Los Angeles Dodgers' World Series roster, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.Kiermaier was included on the NLCS roster instead of Miguel Rojas (thigh), but Rojas is healthy enough to return to action for the World Series. Kiermaier has announced he will retire after the season, so the outfielder has played in his last major-league game, barring him being an injury replacement later in the series.

Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Makes NLCS roster
Kevin Kiermaier (finger) is included on Los Angeles' roster for the NLCS versus the Mets, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.Kiermaier dislocated his left ring finger late in the regular season and wasn't part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' NLDS victory over San Diego, but he's apparently now healthy and ready to play. The veteran outfielder came to Los Angeles at the trade deadline in a deal with Toronto, and over 34 contests with Los Angeles he posted a .203/.242/.322 slash line to go along with one home run, eight RBI, seven runs and a stolen base. Kiermaier announced earlier in the campaign that this will be his final season in the majors, and he'll have a chance to contribute to a World Series push as a reserve outfielder who is still capable of playing excellent defense.

Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Losing playing time to Edman
Kevin Kiermaier will start in center field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.Though he'll pick up his second start in a row Sunday, Kiermaier has faded into more of a part-time role after serving as the Los Angeles Dodgers' primary option in center field through the first three weeks of August. Tommy Edman has since taken over as the Dodgers' preferred center fielder, but manager Dave Roberts will make room for both Kiermaier and Edman on Sunday while the latter fills in at shortstop for a resting Miguel Rojas.

Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Lifts fifth homer
Kevin Kiermaier went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Friday's 7-6 win over the Cardinals.Kiermaier's three-run homer was his first since July 14, and it gave the Los Angeles Dodgers just enough breathing room in the sixth inning. The outfielder hasn't done much at the plate in August, going 6-for-24 (.250) over 11 contests. He's up to a .201/.244/.321 slash line with five homers, 23 RBI, six stolen bases and 27 runs scored across 245 plate appearances between the Dodgers and the Blue Jays this year. Kiermaier continues to see a slight edge for playing time in center field over Andy Pages.

Kevin Kiermaier is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Milwaukee, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.Andy Pages will occupy center field, as he and Kiermaier ended up splitting the starts at the position during the four-game set against the Brewers. Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Picking up playing time
Kevin Kiermaier will start in center field and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Brewers.Kiermaier will occupy center for the fifth time in six games, with two of his starts coming against left-handed pitching. The Los Angeles Dodgers seem to be favoring Kiermaier over Andy Pages at the moment, with the former's superior defense giving him the edge in playing time while the latter has been slumping at the plate. Kiermaier is batting just 1-for-13 with six strikeouts since joining the Dodgers at the trade deadline and is slashing .188/.233/.296 on the season, so fantasy managers likely won't be able to extract much value from him even if he continues to play ahead of Pages.

Dodgers' Kevin Kiermaier: Picks up steal in win
Kevin Kiermaier went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Pirates.Kiermaier led off the bottom of the seventh with a single before going on to swipe his sixth bag of the campaign. It marked the outfielder's first hit since being acquired by the Los Angeles Dodgers at the start of August, while the stolen base was his first since June 19 against the Red Sox (as a member of the Blue Jays). Though not an everyday player, Kiermaier could prove to be useful for the Dodgers at times, given his defensive prowess and speed on the basepaths.
