Athletics' Miguel Andujar: Moves to 60-day IL
The Oakland Athletics transferred Miguel Andujar (abdomen) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Saturday.Oakland manager Mark Kotsay had already confirmed earlier this week that Andujar would require season-ending core-muscle surgery, so his move to the 60-day IL is simply procedural. His 40-man roster spot will be given to Janson Junk, who was claimed off waivers from Houston on Saturday.
