His KBO contract includes a $700,000 base salary with up to $100,000 in incentives, per Kurtz.

The Los Angeles Angels recalled Kenny Rosenberg from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.Rosenberg will return to the major-league roster after being sent down to Salt Lake on Aug. 14. He posted a 3.73 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with 31 strikeouts over 31.1 innings in five starts since being optioned, but the southpaw could work out of the bullpen while he's back up with the Angels. The Angels optioned starter Caden Dana to Double-A Rocket City on Monday, but the club could roll with a five-man rotation over the final two weeks rather than having Rosenberg replace Dana as a sixth starter.

Kenny Rosenberg allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings in long relief against Toronto on Tuesday.Los Angeles Angels starter Carson Fulmer was able to go just three innings, giving up five runs while tossing 75 pitches. Rosenberg -- who was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake earlier in the day -- stepped in and logged what was essentially a starter's workload with 78 pitches of his own, and he was much more effective than Fulmer in yielding just one run across five frames. Due to the large workload, Rosenberg will presumably now be unavailable for several days, so he could move back to the minors in short order to allow Los Angeles to bring up a fresh arm.

Rosenberg entered in the fourth and took on what amounted to a full starting workload, tossing 95 pitches (55 strikes).
