Rays' Joe Rock: Added to 40-man roster
The Tampa Bay Rays selected Joe Rock's contract from Triple-A Durham on Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.Acquired from the Rockies in March, Rock posted a 4.58 ERA and 132:35 K:BB over 139.2 innings this season at Durham. The left-hander is now protected from the Rule 5 Draft.

Rays' Joe Rock: Acquired by Tampa Bay
The Tampa Bay Rays acquired Joe Rock from the Rockies on Thursday in exchange for Greg Jones, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.Rock, 23, spent the 2023 season split between Double-A Hartford and Triple-A Albuquerque, collecting a 4.66 ERA and 112:34 K:BB over 92.2 innings covering 20 starts. The left-hander figures to be assigned to Triple-A Durham.
