White Sox's Corey Julks: Sent to minors
The Chicago White Sox optioned Corey Julks to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday. He'll give up his spot on the 28-man active roster to third baseman Yoan Moncada (adductor), who was reinstated from the 60-day injured list. Since being acquired from the Astros in mid-May and reporting to Chicago, Julks produced a .581 OPS with three home runs and five stolen bases over 189 plate appearances with the White Sox. He mostly served as a short-side platoon player in the White Sox outfield, but Julks should get the chance to play on an everyday basis at Charlotte.
