Embiid is dealing with minor inflammation in his right elbow and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons, Jessica Camerato of CSN Philadelphia reports.
Embiid's absence will make it a bit of a tougher task for the 76ers to guard Pistons center Andre Drummond, but at least for Philadelphia their big man Jahlil Okafor is expected to return from an illness. The 76ers will then have two off days before returning to action Wednesday against the Raptors.
