Jackson won't start Tuesday's game against the Mavericks, Eddie Sefko of the Mavericks' official site reports.
Jackson got the spot start in Sunday's loss to the Clippers but will return to the second unit Tuesday. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the 24-year-old has averaged 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 steals in 12.2 minutes per contest.
