The Bulls are being extremely cautious with every player carrying even the smallest of knocks, and Smith will be held out of this contest with the start of the regular season just around the corner. His next chance to play will come against the Bucks on Monday. The Bulls open their regular season against the Pelicans on Oct. 23.
