Mitchell posted 22 points (8-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals across 35 minutes in Friday's 139-137 preseason loss to the Bulls.

Mitchell didn't have the most efficient performance Friday, but the star guard looks ready for the regular season. The Cavaliers are keeping the same core together and Mitchell signed a three-year, $150.3 million extension in the offseason, so he should be motivated to best his 2023-24 numbers. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.1 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game across 55 regular-season appearances last season.
