Merrill (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hornets.
Merrill will miss his 12th consecutive contest due to a sprained right hand. The Cavaliers haven't indicated how close Merrill is to playing again, but with two full days off coming after Sunday's contest, the shooting guard may have a chance at returning to action Wednesday in Chicago.
