Merrill (elbow) won't return to Friday's game against the 76ers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports.
Merrill has been dealing with a right elbow issue since the preseason. While he hasn't missed any games during the regular season, he's now in danger of missing Saturday's game against the Knicks. If Merrill can't play in that contest, Meleek Thomas and Tyrese Proctor could see more playing time.
