Simmons (knee) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks, Lauren Rosen of FanDuel Sports Network SoCal reports.
Simmons was initially not expected to travel with the team for Friday's game in Atlanta due to a left knee injury, but he seems to have progressed quicker in his recovery than expected. He'll make his return from a seven-game absence Friday after he averaged 6.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.4 steals in 21.0 minutes per contest in his five appearances with the Clippers after signing a one-year deal Feb. 10.
