Jarreau became a free agent Thursday after his second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
If Memphis is interested in retaining Jarreau, the team will need to re-sign him to a rest-of-season deal, which would likely be finalized ahead of its next game Friday versus the Raptors. Since signing his initial 10-day deal March 13, the 28-year-old guard has appeared in each of the Grizzlies' ensuing 11 games and has shot 39.8 percent from the field and 13.3 percent from downtown while averaging 8.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks in 21.0 minutes.
