Bacon was waived by the Lakers on Saturday, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
Bacon got run in two preseason games -- he posted 5.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 17.4 minutes per game -- but didn't impress enough to earn a roster spot. He played overseas last season, and that seems like his destiny for this year.
