LaRavia won't start Monday's preseason game against the Pacers, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
LaRavia took Santi Aldama's spot in the starting lineup Saturday in Chicago, but the two will switch places again Monday. With Jaren Jackson dealing with a hamstring injury, LaRavia could see steady reserve minutes to open the regular season.
