Kennard will come off the bench during Friday's game against the Clippers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Kennard has started the last three games for the Grizzlies but will be in the second unit Friday. Memphis will go with Scotty Pippen, Desmond Bane, Jaylen Wells, Santi Aldama and Jaren Jackson in Los Angeles.
