Smart (undisclosed) was held out of Monday's preseason game against the Pacers.
The team didn't officially rule Smart out prior to Monday's clash, but it wasn't a shock to see that he didn't enter the game. Memphis has yet to reveal whether he continues to be sat down due to a minor injury or for rest purposes. Smart's next opportunity to suit up will arrive Friday against the Heat.
