Aldama (knee) may face increased competition for minutes after the Grizzlies drafted Cameron Boozer with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
The versatile forward has established himself as a valuable rotation player because of his floor spacing and offensive versatility, but Memphis' crowded frontcourt could lead to fluctuating opportunities. In addition to Boozer, the Grizzlies also selected Karim Lopez in the first round. Aldama's ultimate role may depend on potential offseason roster moves.
