Richardson had an injection in his right heel Wednesday to address inflammation and will miss at least one week, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Richardson was sidelined for a brief period to start the season due to a calf strain, but he debuted Nov. 2. He shot just 28.9 percent from the field over his first eight appearances for Miami and hasn't played since Nov. 18, with head coach Erik Spoelstra electing to move him out of the rotation. Richardson will now get some time off to rest his heel, though his absence won't open up any extra minutes for any other players.
